i was looking at your critique partner post, and yeah i had no idea romance novels needed a happily ever after for publication. who knew? haha. in my first book half the character got the ax in the end (pretty literally...) but yeah. i've been looking at publishing sites, mostly for fun, and they all specify the ending must be happy. it seems so obvious haha but i didn't know.
